Inside of helmet: Foam padding, which is missing Manufacturer: Bobbie Enterprises Logo: real sticker Thoughts: This is by far one of the oldest helmets that I own. I honestly don't know when the first souvenir helmets came out, but this has to be around some of the first ones. |
Dates used: 1975 - 1977
Inside of helmet: Grey Adjustrap Manufacturer: Rawlings Logo: screen printed Thoughts: I'm guessing this was a promotional giveaway just recently. Notice the stupid little TM logo. Come on, does that have to be there? At least this is better looking than the helmet above, but to bad the "C" is not correct. |
Dates used: 1986 - Present
Inside of helmet: Brown Adjustrap Manufacturer: Sports Product Corp., a Subsidiary of Laich Logo: screen printed Thoughts: The new style of uniforms also led to a new style of play. The Indians started to slowly turn things around and finally put their team back into contention in the 1990's. Albert Belle had a few problems in this helmet. |

Inside of helmet: Brown Adjustrap Manufacturer: Sports Product Corp., a Subsidiary of Laich Logo: screen printed Thoughts: A promotional helmet, but kind of a rare one. You don't see many of these. It surprises me how rare the promotional helmets can be. In some cases, I think they are even more rare than the helmets from the '60's. |
