White Sox
Dates used: 1956 - 63
Inside of helmet: Foam padding, which is missing Manufacturer: ???? Logo: real sticker Thoughts: I'm going to guess that this may be one of the older helmets that I own. The strange thing about this helmet is that it doesn't have any air holes in it like all of my other helmets. This is a tough find helmet. |
Dates used: 1969-70
Inside of helmet: Adjustrap Manufacturer: Sports Product Corp., A Subsidiary of Laich Thoughts: My heart would love to think that this is an actual helmet from possibly 1970, but I can't be for sure. It has the brown Adjustrap and is made by Sports Product, but my brain tells me that it is more likely a promotional item given out by the White Sox some time in the mid-2000's. Worse yet, I haven't found a photo of this helmet in action, past or present. |

Inside of helmet: Adjustrap Manufacturer: Sports Products Corp. Logo: real sticker Thoughts: I finally find a helmet without the extra writing like the one below. This logo is actually a transition phase from what you see at the left to a more current fancy script like the one above. A fabulous helmet! |
